Doctors advise Shakhtar coach Lucescu to take it slow after car crash

Doctors in Bucharest have advised Shakhtar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu, who is recovering from a driving accident, to take his time before returning to full-time football management.

The preliminary date of the Romanian’s return to work will be established after the next medical, which will be conducted sometime next week. Until then the 66-year-old will remain in the capital of Romania.

Lucescu was involved in a car accident that occurred at the beginning of January, and has not left the hospital since.
