Maria Kirilenko: It seems that Serena is eager to defeat me at any price

Maria Kirilenko (26) conceded in the third round of Wimbledon. She was defeated by American Serena Williams (27). Kirilenko noted that in her opinion, the American was especially eager to win the match at any price.

«We have a perfectly normal relationship, I think she respects me. But it seems that there are players Serena just can’t loose to, she fights with them as if it was the question of life and death. I’m probably one of such players,» said Kirilenko as quoted by RIA Novosti.
