Martin Jol: We’ve had constructive negotiations with Pogrebnyak over deal extension
Fulham manager Martin Jol said the negotiations with Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak over the extension of his current deal with the London club are going well.
«I think the talks we’ve had were very constructive. He told us that he wants to stay here and he is comfortable at Fulham,» Jol told Sky Sports.
Pogrebnyak current deal ends this summer, but there is an automatic 12-month extension clause in it.
The Russian striker, who scored five goals in his first three games at Fulham, has attracted interest from a host of Premiership clubs, including Aston Villa and Sunderland.
