Europa League: Izmailov scores the opener as Sporting defeat Metallist

Sporting Lisbon midfielder helped his team earn a valuable 2-1 home victory against Metallist Kharkiv in the Europa League ¼ final.

The Sporting midfielder got on the end of a low cross on the 51st minute of the game to net his first goal in the Europa League this season.

It was also the 29-year-old Russian’s sixth strike of the season.
