Five-star Zenit crush Dynamo Moscow

Alexander Kerzhakov’s double and Andrey Arshavin’s assist helped Zenit St. Petersburg demolish Dynamo Moscow 5-1 in the Russian Premier League.

The away side opened the scoring with Italian winger Domenico Crischito’s headed goal and seconds later Kerzhakov’s magnificent long-range strike doubled their lead.

Andrey Arshavin then threaded Sergey Semak through on goal with a sublime pass and the Russian veteran made it 3-0.

Kevin Kuranyi got a goal back for the hosts in the second half, but Zenit continued the rout with a brilliant diving header by Kerzhakov and a sweet set-piece goal by Szablozc Huzsti.

Zenit are now 9 points clear of second-placed CSKA in the standings, but the Moscow outfit has a game in hand.
