Petr Cech: Our big boss Abramovich congratulated us in the dressing room after the Napoli win
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich came in to the Chelsea dressing room to celebrate with the players after their 4-1 extra-time victory in the Champions League 1/8 match with Napoli, goalkeeper Petr Cech claimed.
«We performed at the limits of our abilities and were rewarded for our efforts. We deserved to qualify to the quarterfinals,» the Czech Republic goalkeeper insisted.
«All the players were very emotional, celebrating the victory in the dressing room. Even our big boss and owner Roman Abramovich joined the celebrations – he was very happy,» Cech continued.
«As for [interim manager] Roberto di Matteo, it is a perfect start to the job. We will do all we can to continue the winning streak,» said the goalie.
