CSKA to sign Hercules midfielder Tiago Gomes in the summer

Portuguese midfielder Tiago Gomes, currently with Spanish Secunda side Hercules, agreed to join CSKA Moscow in the summer, Spanish newspaper AS claims.

According to the paper, Gomes’s contract expires in June and he has given his agreement to sing for the Red Army when that happens.

The Russian Premier League title challengers offered to loan the player during the winter transfer window, but the Spanish side wanted to arrange a permanent deal.

The 27-year-old is reportedly struggling with a shoulder injury and requires surgery, but has decided to postpone it to help his club reach the Spanish top flight.
