Alan Dzagoev: This is the best Real team since the Zidane and Beckham era

CSKA Moscow Russian starlet Alan Dzagoev claims his side’s Champion League opponents Real Madrid now have the best group of players since the early 2000s, when Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham were in the team.

«I am sceptical about making predictions for this match. I think the pitch can be a crucial factor – the artificial grass is more familiar to us than the Spanish. Another advantage would be if they underestimate us, so we’ll try to catch them on the break,» said the Russia international.

«If you don’t take the Zidane-Beckham era, this is their strongest side ever. Getting so far ahead of Barcelona in the La Liga is Mourinho’s great achievement. I’d say they are the best side in the world, after Barca.»
