Zenit renew their interest in Fiorentina forward Vargas

Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg in search for a new striker have once again turned their attention to Fiorentina ace Juan Vargas, claims La Gazzetta dello Sport.

No details of a potential transfer fee have been revealed yet, but there were reports earlier that the Saint-Petersburg outfit are ready to offer up to €8 million for the Peruvian and throw Italian striker Alessandro Rosina in the deal.

The 28-year-old Peru international played in 15 Seria A matches this term, in which he made five assists.
