Roman Pavlyuchenko: A bust up with Tottenham assistant coach? There is nothing to it!

Lokomotiv Moscow newcomer Roman Pavlyuchenko denied reports that his alleged quarrel with one of the coaches at his former club lead to his exit from Spurs.

«There was no conflict! It was just a regular discussion, maybe a little more heated than usual. But we didn’t fight with Kevin Bond, there were no insults. We were completely fine the next day, chatting away as if nothing happened.»

«All I did was ask where our manager was: I needed to ask him a few questions, but he came to our training sessions just once in that week. The assistant said he didn’t know, and that was that.»

As for my sudden career change, I can say that getting a living permit in the UK would have been nice, but I care more about playing football on a regular basis,» the former Tottenham striker told Russian newspaper Sport-Express.
