Russian national team to be based in Warsaw during Euro 2012

Russia head coach Dick Advocaat announced that the national team will be based in Poland during Euro 2012. Initially, Russian FA planned that the team would live in Ukraine and later confirmed the plans despite the fact that Russia were drawn in a Poland-based group A.

«Two of the three games we play in the capital of Poland. After some consideration, I realized that it would be logical to be based in the same place as well. Moreover, there is another reason, but I won’t reveal it.

«I weighed all the pros and cons. So, we will live in Warsaw. The exact location will be defined in the neared future,» the Dutchman said as quoted by Sport-Express.
