Miroslav Klose: I could have moved to Russia and earn more, but I chose Lazio

Lazio forward Miroslav Klose said he could join one of the Russian clubs during the summer transfer window.

«I could move to Russia, earn more money and feel more relaxed. But I chose another option and joined Lazio. I’m hungry for football and really want new victories. I need new challenges, and Lazio is a great challenge for me,» Klose said as quoted by Corriere dello Sport.

In the summer of 2010 there were reports about Rubin Kazan being interested in Klose. The player was believed to have refused the idea.
