Palmeiras keen on Anzhi’s Diego Tardelli

Palmeiras are interested in signing Anzhi Makhachkala striker Diego Tardelli. According to Globo Esporte, the Brazilians have already approached Anzhi with a request on the player’s transfer.

This information was confirmed by Arnaldo Tyrone, president of Palmeiras. «Tardelli is very expensive, but we’ll see if he could be signed without some spending,» Tyrone stated.

Earlier reports suggested several other Brazilian clubs were interested in bringing Tardelli home after a poor start of career abroad – including Vasco da Gama and Gremio. This season, the Brazilian took part in 13 matches in the Russian Premier League and scored a single goal.
