Samuel Eto’o makes his debut for Anzhi, scores equalizing goal

Anzhi Makhachkala star signing Samuel Eto’o made his debut for his new team already on the Russian Premier League’s first matchday after his transfer.

The Cameroonian came on as a substitute in the 58th minute of the game against Rostov, replacing Brazilian forward Diego Tardelli. In the 80th minute he scored the game’s equalizing goal after Yury Zhirkov’s solo run into the penalty area. The match ended with a 1:1 draw.
