Report: Lokomotiv interested in Deportivo’s Andres Guardado

Andres Guardado, midfielder of Deportivo La Coruna recenly relegated from La Liga, may leave the club on Tuesday.

According to AS, the 24-year-old player has offers from Spartak Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow, as well as from Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund. In Spain there’s also Valencia who have been expressing their interest in the player. Still, Lokomotiv and Schalke are believed to be the main contenders.

It should be noted that Spartak had earlier denied the reports about them targeting Guardado, while Lokomotiv wanted to sign him back in 2006 when he was a player of Mexico’s Atlas, for €4 million.
