Anzhi deny reports on possible transfer of Ganso for €50m

Anzhi Makhachkala have issued a statement denying the reports that the Russian club intended to buy Ganso, the midfielder of Brazilian Santos, for €40-50 million, which appeared earlier today.

«Anzhi football club officially declares that the information that appeared today in the Brazilian media regarding Santos midfielder Ganso is not true.

«Ganso is undoubtedly an outstanding talent, but the nonsense expressed in figures we had allegedly offered to Santos and the player should remain the responsibility of the Brazilian media or the agents that disperse this myth,» reads the statement on the official site of the Russian club.
