Report: Forlan rejects Spartak Moscow offer

Atletico Madrid forward Diego Forlan has refused to join Spartak Moscow, according to AS.

As the Spanish newspaper reported, the Uruguayan already rejected five offers this summer, these being ones from Galatasaray, Besiktas, Sao Paulo, Al Wasl, and Spartak.

Forlan has let the clubs’ representatives know that he isn’t keen to make hasty decisions on his future and wishes to consider the offers only after the upcoming Copa America. The player also does not exclude the possibility to continue his career at Atletico.

Meanwhile, the Madrid club are unhappy with Forlan’s reluctance to make up his mind, as in case of his departure Atletico will not have enough time to find a replacement.
