Lokomotiv renew negotiations on Levante’s Felipe Caicedo
Lokomotiv Moscow are believed to have renewed the negotiations with the Ecuadorian forward of Levante Felipe Caicedo and have even achieved a considerable progress in them according to Sport-Express.
However, president of the Russian club Olga Smorodskaya refused to confirm or deny this information: «I do not make any comments on any transfer information until the deal is finalized.»
The 22-year-old forward of Levante, whose transfer rights the Spanish club bought out recently for €1 million from Manchester City after a fruitful one-year loan, visited Moscow at the end of May. In the capital of Russia he was made aware of the terms of the proposed long-term contract. Caicedo asked to be given time to think them over and left for the USA, where the Ecuador national team were having a training camp.
According to SuperDeporte, the Russians have also offered Levante €5 million for the player’s transfer.
