Kerzhakov will not play against Armenia due to injury

Zenit and Russian national team striker Alexander Kerzhakov will not take part in Euro 2012 qualifier against Armenia, which will be held today in St. Petersburg, due to an injury suffered during a training session.

After yesterday’s national team training session at Petrovsky Stadium it was found that the effects of a knee injury, due to which the striker began training separately from the main group, are quite serious. According to Sports Daily, on Friday night Kerzhakov already left the camp of the national team and returned home.
