Vitaly Petrov: I had my doubts about Formula 1 return

Caterham driver Vitaly Petrov admitted he was not sure if he would be able to get a F1 contract for the next season.

«Of course I had doubts about being able to sign for another team. I didn’t want to miss a year as that way it would have been very difficult for me to get back to the highest level. The last three months were hard for me as I didn’t know what’s going to happen – whether I would be driving, or sitting at home, or training for something else…» the Russian told GP Update.
