Oksana Kosachenko, the manager of Lotus Renault GP driver Vitaly Petrov, revealed that it is still not clear whether the Russian will stay in the team for the 2012 season.

«After today’s announcement about the signing of Kimi Raikkonen we have a very short period of time to decide if Vitaly Petrov will stay in the team or leave. The deadline comes on December 10. Still, the question of whether Vitaly will stay in the team is not quite correct. It would be better to put it this way: will the management reach agreement with the owners? If we succeed, Petrov will surely continue to drive for Lotus Renault,» Kosachenko said as quoted by RIA Novosti.
