Rubin Kazan earned $44 million in 2010

Rubin Kazan have reported on their revenues earned as a result of their operating activities in 2010.

Lately the club has begun a large scale optimization of its spending and getting as close as possible to breaking even.

In 2010, the club’s operating revenues have reached $44 million, including $17 million from the Champions League participation, $4 million from the Russian Premier League TV rights, and around $23 million from transfer operations.

The club has also officially confirmed that it’s sponsored by a number of Tatarstan-based oil and gas companies and has pledged to further increase its operating revenues, according to a statement on its official website.
