Guillermo Laborde’s poster for the inaugural World Cup is an elegant expression of Art Deco design. The outstretched arms of the goalie have caught the ball at the pinnacle of the goal frame. He is dressed in Uruguay’s national colors.

Ball • T-Model

 The T-model ball (also called the „Wembley”) was made by the English company John Salter & Son from Aldershot (London) and had been imported by Clericetti & Barrela from Montevideo but as stated earlier none of these balls were branded in the World Cup matches.
