Vladislav Tretyak: Contract with Bykov and Zakharkin was not renewed

According to a report by Sports.ru correspondent, at today’s meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian Hockey Federation (FHR) its head Vladislav Tretyak announced that the head coach of the Russian national team Vyacheslav Bykov and his assistant Igor Zakharkin will not continue their work with the team.

«The performance of the coaching staff was found to be unsatisfactory. The contract with Bykov and Zakharkin was not renewed,» Tretyak stated.

The official website of the FHR has also confirmed this information.
