Dimitar Makriev moves from Ashdod to Krylia Sovetov

Bulgarian forward Dimitar Makriev, who has been playing for Ashdod in the Israeli top division, has signed a three-year contract with Krylia Sovetov Samara.

Makriev passed a health check in Moscow and then left Russia to join the Bulgarian national team, who will play a Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro on June 4, reported the official website of Krylja Sovetov.

However, Makriev’s debut in the colors of the Samara club will not occur until August 1, when the summer transfer window opens in Russia.

It should be noted, that the Bulgarian could have been transferred to Russia in February already, but at that moment the transfer fell through.
