Spartak duo Parshivlyuk and Bilyaletdinov sidelined by injuries

Spartak Moscow defender Sergey Parshivlyuk and midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov will be on the sidelines for an undetermined period of time after sustaining injuries in the game against CSKA Moscow.

Bilyaletdinov broke the second metatarsal bone in his foot after a heavy challenge by an opponent and, according to some reports, will miss several weeks of football, including the crucial RPL encounter against Zenit.

«He should return before the end of the season. With this injury he won’t miss the European Championships,» an anonymous source within the club told RIA Novosti.

Meanwhile, Parshivlyuk sustained a partial tear of the exterior knee ligament. It is not yet clear how long he will be out for.
