Brunu Alves: I consider Arshavin to be a top player

Zenit St. Petersburg stopper Bruno Alves spoke to Sovetsky sport about his new team-mate Andrey Arshavin, on loan from Arsenal.

«Of course I am aware that Zenit is his home club, where he used to be one of the leading players. He left for London before I arrived, but despite his recent struggles in the Premiership I still consider him a top player. He is a fantastic footballer and a world-class professional. I am convinced that Andrey will lead us to success and everyone in the club is glad that he is back,» the Portuguese defender stated.
