Yevgeny Malkin: Everyone knows Crosby is our best forward, our captain and our leader

Russian forward Yevgeny Malkin paid tribute to his Penguins teammate Sid Crosby, whose triumphant return after an injury helped the team crush the Winnipeg Jets 8-4.

«We don’t really have first or third lines in the squad, our coach tends to mix up different line-ups. On a few occasions I played in Crosby’s line, other times his partner was Jordan Staal. Everyone knows that Sid is the main centre forward at Pittsburg, he is our skipper and our leader. Look at how many points he got against Winnipeg (0+4). He is improving with every game and he will be an asset for us in the play-offs,» the Russian star told Sovetsky sport.
