RPL chief: Clubs that can’t guarantee a good pitch will play on neutral grounds

Russian Premier League president Sergey Pryadkin claimed that any side that can’t guarantee the quality of their stadium and playing surface will have to play on a neutral ground.

«Talking doesn’t help any more. I agree with the Russian FA president – if clubs can’t make sure the playing conditions are of an appropriate level, they will play on neutral grounds. I also think that we have to make it compulsory for clubs to have a reserve pitch with artificial surface, but it doesn’t happen at the snap of a finger. Thins will only improve significantly by 2018, and more or less – by 2014,» Pryadkin told Sovetsky sport.
