Reports: Fiorentina ace Vargas still wanted by Zenit

Several clubs, including Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg, are still in the running to sign the Fiorentina midfielder Juan Manuel Vargas, Italian newspaper Corriere Fiorentino claims.

Liverpool, Inter Milan, Aston Villa and Bayern Munich are also among the contenders for the Peruvian international, the report states.

The clubs are looking to bid for the player in the summer, but there is no information about the potential transfer fee.
