Yevgeny Malkin: The Penguins will struggle in the play-offs without Crossby

Pittsburg Penguins forward Yevgeny Malkin spoke about the significance of his teammate Sidney Crosby, who is recovering from a head injury.

«Everyone is waiting for his return. He is training with the team, which is a good sign. But you cannot get inside Crosby’s head, so we can’t know for sure what he is experiencing,» the Russian star told Sovetsky sport.

«No one would want a recurrence of his concussion. I hope he gets back before the play-offs and plays a few regular season matches. His presence would help us in the Stanley Cup as well. The Penguins would find it hard without him,» the player admitted.
