Carlos Eduardo: The move to Rubin was a nightmare, but I don’t hate Russia

Brazilian midfielder Carlos Eduardo, who recently called his transfer to Rubin Kazan «a wrong move», insists he did not imply he plans to leave Russia.

«When I said I made a mistake moving to the Russian Premier League, I meant it in terms of my career progress. Before coming here I was a regular in the national team, but then they forgot about me. So I feel that this move has been a bit of a nightmare. But I don’t hate the country and don’t intend to run away. Rubin have helped me a lot, so I will stay here until my deal expires or the club decides to sell me,» Eduardo added, talking to Sovetsky sport.
