Dick Advocaat: My goal is to try and win Euro 2012
Russia head coach Dick Advocaat confirmed his team will be set on the highest goals at Euro 2012.
«I believe Mr. Fursenko will let me set the objectives for the tournament by myself. My goal is to try and win the Euro. The same should be for all the players in the team. In the end we’ll see how realistic it is. Everything can happen. Russia proved it back in 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.»
«Is there already a daily plan of preparations for Euro-2012?»
«Yes, I already have it. We’ll spend a week in Russia, another week in Austria or Switzerland, then we’ll be back in Russia for two days, and then we’ll fly to Ukraine,» Advocaat said to Sovetsky sport.
