UEFA lift ban on Alania Vladikavkaz stadium to host Europa League matches
UEFA have allowed Russia’s Alania to host their 3rd qualifying round match of the Europa League against Kazakhstani club Aktobe at the club’s home stadium Spartak in Vladikavkaz, thus lifting the previous ban.
The third inspection conducted in Vladikavkaz last week has shown that all the shortcomings identified earlier at the stadium have been eliminated, Alania’s official website reports. The first and the second inspections caused the prohibition to host the Europa League matches at Spartak Stadium.
The match in Vladikavkaz between Alania and Aktobe will take place on July 28.
