Owner of Anzhi will invest $1.4bn in sports infrastructure construction in Dagestan
Nafta Moskva investment group, controlled by owner of Anzhi Makhachkala Suleiman Kerimov will invest $1.4 billion in the constrution of sports and, first of all, football infrastructure in Dagestan.
Makhachkala is the capital of the Caucasian republic, however Anzhi have been living and training in Moscow Oblast since Kerimov took over the club, due to the fact that the the team’s home town lacks training facilities of appropriate quality.
The agreement between KSK, a state company in charge of the develpoment of the Caucasus region, and Nafta Moskva has been signed on Friday. The aforementioned amount will include the expenses for the construction of an airport and a major stadium, according to Vedomosti.
