CSKA Moscow release Sani Becirovic and Matjaz Smodis

CSKA Moscow decided to release two of its Slovenian players – point/shooting guard Sani Becirovic and forward/center Matjaz Smodis.

The club used the relevant provisions in the players’ contracts and opted to not prolong their agreements, according to its official website.

CSKA also thanked the players, insisting that the decision to part company was made after good-willed talks and in the best interests of both parties.
